Cameron Mathison, James Woods, Paris Hilton, and more lose homes in LA fires

Deadly wildfires are wreaking havoc in the Los Angeles area, forcing evacuations and destroying homes, including those of several celebrities.

The fires have claimed five lives, with over 100,000 people ordered to evacuate. Los Angeles County Fire Chief Anthony Marrone reported that at least 1,000 structures have been destroyed.

Among the evacuees is “This Is Us” star Mandy Moore, who shared on Instagram: “Miraculously, the main part of our house is still standing. It’s not livable but mostly intact. We lost our garage, back house, and Taylor’s studio. My heart aches for everyone experiencing this kind of loss.”

Tina Knowles’ ‘Happy Place’ lost

Tina Knowles posted on Instagram about the destruction of her Malibu bungalow: “It was my favorite place, my sanctuary, my sacred Happy Place. Now it is gone!! I’m so thankful to the brave men and women in our fire department who risked their lives in such dangerous conditions. Without them, this could have been so much worse.”

Cary Elwes expresses gratitude despite loss

“The Princess Bride” actor Cary Elwes confirmed on Instagram: “Sadly, we did lose our home, but we are grateful to have survived this truly devastating fire. Our hearts go out to all the families impacted by this tragic event. We also wish to extend our gratitude to all the firefighters, first responders, and law enforcement who worked so tirelessly through the night and are still at it.”

Paris Hilton’s home burned on live TV
