Loni Willison, Ex-Wife of Baywatch Star Jeremy Jackson, Seen Sifting Through Dumpster For Food

Loni Willison was born in Riverside, California in 1983 and was an American actress for a brief period. Sadly, she’s taken a different path since separating from her former husband, Jeremy Jackson.

In 2016, reports began circulating regarding Loni Willison living on the streets of Los Angeles. Since then, people have reported seeing her in various heart-wrenching scenarios, including eating from a dumpster. Once a glowing bombshell, Loni Willison is in disarray, with missing teeth and short hair, and has been seen searching through the dumpster for food.

Tragically, her divorce from Jeremy may be a major contributing factor to the former actress’ downward spiral. In 2014, Loni Willison and her ex-husband separated after a toxic argument became violent. The pair were allegedly drunk, and Jackson purportedly strangled her. They divorced in 2015 and had been married for two years before the incident. Unsurprisingly, the abrupt change didn’t bode well for Willison or her mental health.

Loni Willison’s Rocky Recovery

Loni Willison spent two months recovering from the altercation and left with broken ribs and scratches. “I couldn’t work out or take on any modeling jobs,” she explained. However, she chose not to press charges. Instead, she took on the weight of her failed relationship and struggled to bounce back to some remnant of the blonde beauty she once was.

Following the divorce, Loni Willison lost her job as an assistant to a plastic surgeon. According to the former actress, she was “in a very bad place,” facing homelessness. Ultimately, she began struggling with substance abuse. Eventually, her problems worsened, and in 2018, she explained she had also been suffering from mental illness, believing that she was being tortured with electricity.

Unconventional Means of Survival

Loni Willison was evicted and has been living on and pushing a shopping cart full of her belongings through the streets of Santa Monica. Although she’s faced immense struggle, she shared that she’s not interested in getting help. “I haven’t got a cell phone. I’ve got food and I’ve got a place to sleep,” she said. “I get money here and there and there’s food in the bins and near the stores. There’s lots here.”

Support is Out There

Furthermore, Larry Marinelli, the owner of True Intensions, a sober living home offered Loni Willison free treatment. However, she refused treatment, checking out less than 24 hours later. “I haven’t spoken to Jeremy. I don’t want to speak to my friends, I’m doing just fine.” She commented. “I don’t want anyone to help me.”

The sober living home is in Tarzana, California, and was opened in 2015. While it’s seemingly inactive, the Facebook page has numerous posts regarding their love, support, and celebration of those who’ve chosen sober living.

Substance abuse is an increasing problem in the U.S., and a reported 48.7 million people have admitted to having a substance disorder in 2022, aged 12 or older. Moreover, 1 in 3 adults admitted to suffering from a mental health or substance abuse disorder. Apparently, even those with fame and fortune aren’t immune to the harsh realities of life or mental health disorders. Loni Willison is a testament to the importance of prioritizing good mental health and support for one another in the face of adversity.
